Very quick update from my hospital bed as I eat the glorious toast, jam & butter, and drink a cup of tea that feels soooo good after the pre-op fasting!
So it’s done! I can tell you that the bar-steward tumour has officially been removed! 🙌🏻

Covered in ink from the mark-ups – not quite my usual tattoo style – and I’ve got drains and wires attached still, it hurts a bit even with painkillers, but all-in-all I feel good 😆 so good I’m here blogging already – saving the other half the job of a thousand phone calls 😉

I might even get home later today, I wasn’t sure if I would or I’d want to but I’m definitely ready now 😂
