After wondering and worrying about when the chemo side effects were going to hit…I’m still standing, just!
Admittedly, I’m now actually lying down writing this in my bed, but I’ll take the fact that I was standing for most of the day as a good thing!
I managed a dog walk this morning, pottered about in the garden, took all the tablets and administered my first tummy injection all by myself – unfortunately I got half of it down my leg as I pushed the jabber forward before it hit my stomach – oops!! .
I’ve had a dry mouth again all day but it’s been helped by drinking lots of juice. I’m definitely more tired tonight and a bit headachey, but otherwise I’m OK.
And that’s really all I’ve got to report… oh apart from the dog was definitely not standing today in the heat, preferring to sleep much of the day. I did try a nap but the steroids kept me awake 👀
Knackered now! Night night all! 😴
